eye over sea is my new t-shirt company independent of and not affiliated with Cartwheel Group 3 Comics. eye over sea is still very much a work-in-progress and the debut design is still in the early stages. My hope is that t-shirt sales will allow me to pay an artist to do some CG3 work. Please ‘like’ the eye over sea Facebook Page to keep up with updates on and progress of the debut design.
Thank You and Cheers.
The Cartwheel Group 3 Comics business model will be changing from that of a community collective to a small online publisher/press. Updates will be made to the main site and all social media sites as needed to reflect this change.
UPDATE: I’m in the very early stages of working on a separate and independent venture to create a revenue stream to pay an artist for a CG3 production. This way, the making of comics won’t be dependent on the making of comics for profit. Focusing on trying to be able to pay just one artist for one stand-alone project for now. Stay tuned! — Freddie Rodriguez, CG3 Creator/Editor
JULY 17, 2014 ORGANIZATIONAL UPDATE: Unfortunately, I have not found any artists to work with that have stayed on through the completion of a project. No artists are currently signed on. Though I’m always on the search for new aspiring up-and-coming artists to work with, I am taking a hiatus. I recently relocated to the Boston Area for the summer with the intention of finding a day job to make my stay permanent. I am focusing on that and once I am a little more settled, I will return to trying to make Cartwheel Group 3 Comics successful full force. Any interested artists can still contact me via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Stage Center Productions, an NYC-based theater and cinema production house and talent agency for actors and writers focused on Latino and/or LGBT literature, theater, and cinema did an interview with Cartwheel Group 3 Comics Creator/Editor, Freddie Rodriguez calling him a “creative force.” He discusses CG3 as well as his other creative endeavors. Click here and, then, click on his picture to read the interview.
Currently an artist is needed for each of these projects. If interested please email Cartwheel Group 3 Comics at email@example.com and write “Interested Artist” in the subject line of your message.

Cycle 1 (Launch Cycle)
These are the six titles (stories) that will launch Cartwheel Group 3 Comics.
Polka Dots & Plaid: Drawing inspiration from What Not to Wear and A Clockwork Orange, Polka Dots and Plaid are the hosts of a week-long makeover show of the same name where guests’ style is made-over in front of the camera while their souls are made-over behind it.
Fame + Fortune: The Phamai (pronounced famay and heard as “fame” to human ears) are an alien race who have chosen a human champion and endowed him with super powers to fight off an impending monster invasion of earth.
Adelmira, the War Mage: A Frazettian-style sorceress warrior woman from another dimension crosses over to earth through the moon to chase and kill an incorporeal dragon before the prophecy of it being birthed into physicality by three earthen zombie brides is fulfilled.
Trinity: The tale of a vampire (Reckless Abandon), man-made shape-shifting human monster (Mongrel), and space sorcerer (Soul Weaver), who represent the mind, body, and soul, and how they met while running away from They, an organization that may have been instrumental in their coming together.
Immortals, Inc.: Our version of “the seven” (You know who they are!), with Gilded Lady, Nonchalant, That Guy!, Ebb & Flow, Time Bandit, Little Johnny Gomez, and Outlier, as their base is attacked by a known enemy.
Panamaniac: An adventure of Panama’s premiere superhero with sidekick, Panama Joven (Young Panama), while defending the regular folk of the nation.
Happy Free Comic Book Day! In celebration, Cartwheel Group 3 Comics (cartwheelgroup3.com), based in El Paso, Texas, is happy to announce a search for 6 aspiring comic book pencilers/artists to work on original stand-alone online superhero comic stories (webcomics) featuring Cartwheel Group 3 Comic characters from character design to final drawn out story.
Though this is an unpaid opportunity, selected artists’ bios, pictures, and official website links will be hosted at the main site and promoted via social media (Facebook, Twitter, and tumblr) as work progresses and will stay on the site once the work is completed.
A release will need to be signed and weekly calls are required, initially, to touch base on progress. Calls will then shift to bi-weekly or monthly as work progresses. Other communication will be via email. The completed projects will then be archived so to serve as an online portfolio for the featured artists.
If interested, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with brief bio, link to or examples of work, and any questions. Cartwheel Group 3 Comics is a new organization, so you would be jumping on board at the beginning stages.
Artists Che Willams and Orion Vang have both decided to pursue other opportunities. So, neither artist will be continuing work on any Cartwheel Group 3 Comics. We wish them luck on their future endeavors.
Williams was assigned to the story of Trinity featuring characters Reckless Abandon, Mongrel, and Soul Weaver. Thanks to him for at least completing the character design for Reckless Abandon. That leaves the character designs for Mongrel and Soul Weaver to be completed.
Vang was assigned to Fame & Fortune and got through some sketches of one of the supporting cast members, Juan Perez. His sketches will at least provide a springboard for a future artist to bounce off of.
Replacement artists for these stories have not been secured at this time, but because of our one-stand-alone-story-a-month model, we are always open to new artists who may be interested in working on a Cartwheel Group 3 Comics project. If interested, please email Cartwheel Group 3 Comics at email@example.com.
