UPDATE: I’m in the very early stages of working on a separate and independent venture to create a revenue stream to pay an artist for a CG3 production. This way, the making of comics won’t be dependent on the making of comics for profit. Focusing on trying to be able to pay just one artist for one stand-alone project for now. Stay tuned! — Freddie Rodriguez, CG3 Creator/Editor

Happy Free Comic Book Day 2014/Call for 6 Aspiring Superhero Comic Book Artists
StandardHappy Free Comic Book Day! In celebration, Cartwheel Group 3 Comics (cartwheelgroup3.com), based in El Paso, Texas, is happy to announce a search for 6 aspiring comic book pencilers/artists to work on original stand-alone online superhero comic stories (webcomics) featuring Cartwheel Group 3 Comic characters from character design to final drawn out story.
Though this is an unpaid opportunity, selected artists’ bios, pictures, and official website links will be hosted at the main site and promoted via social media (Facebook, Twitter, and tumblr) as work progresses and will stay on the site once the work is completed.
A release will need to be signed and weekly calls are required, initially, to touch base on progress. Calls will then shift to bi-weekly or monthly as work progresses. Other communication will be via email. The completed projects will then be archived so to serve as an online portfolio for the featured artists.
If interested, please email cartwheelgroup3@gmail.com with brief bio, link to or examples of work, and any questions. Cartwheel Group 3 Comics is a new organization, so you would be jumping on board at the beginning stages.
